William Shakespeare is the greatest poet and dramatist in English literature. He was born at Stratford-on-Avon in 1564 AD and was educated at the free grammar school there. He left Stratford in 1585 and arrived in London in 1586. He became connected with different theatres and subsequently began writing dramas. His world famous plays are king Lear, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Hemlet Etc. This great dramatist breathed his last in 1616.
Plato is famous all over the world as a philosopher. He was born a Athens in Greece in 427 B.C. He was the disciple of Socrates and the teacher of Aristotle. His "Dialogues" and "The Republic" are two famous book among the ancients. This great Philosopher breathed his last in 347 B.C.
